Penelope Restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen All-Rounder to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food preparation support.

About the Role

As a Kitchen All-Rounder, you will play an important role in supporting our kitchen operations. Your duties will include dishwashing, basic food preparation, cleaning, stock handling, and assisting chefs as required to ensure smooth service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage, and preparation areas

• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling

• Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures

• Remove rubbish and maintain waste management areas

• Support chefs and kitchen staff during service periods

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards

• Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures

About You

• Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is preferred

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• Team player with good communication skills

• Understanding of food safety practices
