The Role A vacancy currently exists for a Human Resources Officer within the HR team that supports the Queensland Metallurgical Operations, based residentially in Mount Isa. Reporting into the Superintendent – Human Resources this position will require you to provide HR support to the HR Advisors in a high volume and fast paced environment. This is a residential role in MT ISA on a Monday to Friday roster, with the option of a lifestyle roster of 5/2/4/3. Your key responsibilities include: Data entry including elements of payroll, performance reviews, filing management and other HR related functionsOnboarding and offboarding of employees including organisation of travelDocument control and preparationEnd of month reporting and processingAuditing of HR systemsSupporting the HR advisors with any administration related tasks when requiredAnswering of phone calls – internal and external stakeholders The successful applicants will have: Successfactors, UKG and Workday experience is highly regardedAbility to multi-task and deal effectively/efficiently and direct HR queries to relevant partiesAbility to work in a high-volume work environmentWillingness to seek and accept challenges and responsibilitiesExcellent computer literacy with all Microsoft packagesPrevious mining experience would be an advantage but not essentialHold a current valid drivers’ license.
