We’re seeking a highly organised, proactive AWIC Coordinator to support Awesome Women In Construction and to advocate and educate the next generation and existing network of women in the construction industry.Working within a hybrid position,&nbsp;candidates must be local to Brisbane area&nbsp;to attend various schools, government or networking events.About You<ul><li>Exceptional organisation and the ability to manage multiple moving parts</li><li>Assist with event coordination, comfortable with managing logistics &amp; schedules</li><li>Commitment to AWIC members, sponsors and stakeholders</li><li>High attention to detail to deliver professional work to the right audience</li><li>A positive, engaging, solutions focused and community‑minded approach</li><li>Must have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Proactive communication with communities, industry, colleges, schools, networks, and various government connections</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Key support to various events and roadshow activities</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Coordinate schedules, transport, and required insurances for tours in each location</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Develop run sheets for each event and distribute them to all relevant parties</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Liaise with all parties post‑events to gather feedback and support continuous improvement</li></ul>Due to the role requirements, having a driver’s licence and reliable transport is important due to public transport restrictions in some locations.Why This Role MattersYour coordination will directly support AWIC’s mission to connect communities, empower students, and strengthen industry engagement.How to applyDue to the personalised, highly detailed nature of this role, along with a need to be able to communicate at all levels - we strongly discourage use of AI when applying.
