Production Team Leader - PM Shift | Carole Park, QLD
Full-time | $30.99/hr + 15% shift allowance | Comgroup Supplies

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our ever-growing production team, located at our Carole Park site.
🌤️ CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:
PM shifts – 2.00pm to 11.00pm
Monday to Friday + some Saturdays & O/T (as required)
🛠️ DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Assist in executing the daily production plan, including meeting/exceeding all KPI's and targets set.
Monitor line operations, including coordinating breaks, assigning tasks, identifying issues/delays and communicating with the team.
Complete onboarding requirements, including on-the-job training for new employees.
Promote safe work practices, identify hazards, ensure PPE compliance, and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
Support adherence to HACCP, GMP, hygiene, allergen, and foreign material controls.
Accurately complete all data entry for production records, check sheets, and other required documentation.
Provide a hands-on approach with a strong presence on the production floor.
Learning the Shift Supervisor position, to cover for the role as required (AM & PM shifts).
Liaise with other departments (Maintenance, Quality, Safety, HR, etc) regarding production requirements, issues, concerns, etc.
Regular reporting to the Shift Supervisor/Manager.
🦺 REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ROLE:
Experience as a Team Leader, Leading Hand, or Senior Operator (not mandatory, but advantageous).
Experience within food manufacturing, meat processing, or production line environments.
Certificate III or IV in Food Processing, Manufacturing, or Leadership (desirable).
Food Safety and WHS training relevant to manufacturing environments (desirable).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of GMP and food handling standards.
Ability to follow OH&S and safe operating procedures for all machinery and work environment.
Fit and healthy – able to lift 25kg +.
Available to work weekends when required.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
Permanent working rights in Australia - citizen or permanent resident.
