 About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining systems thinking, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving to deliver practical business improvements and support organisation-wide projects and change initiatives. Working within the ICT Business Systems & Projects team, this role partners closely with Human Resources and key business stakeholders to support, enhance and optimise HR information systems and business processes across the organisation.

This 6-month fixed term opportunity is ideal for someone seeking flexible part-time hours — working 4 hours per day across 4 days per week (16 hours). Mondays are essential, with the remaining days negotiable.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Provide business application support and troubleshooting for HR information systems
  • Analyse business needs and identify opportunities for process and system improvement
  • Collaborate with HR, ICT and operational teams to implement effective system solutions
  • Support system configuration, upgrades, integrations and enhancements
  • Assist with reporting, data analysis and information requests across the business
  • Participate in ICT projects and change management initiatives
  • Maintain system security access, integrity and compliance requirements
  • Deliver user support, training and guidance to system users and stakeholders

 About you:
You are a proactive and analytical professional who enjoys working collaboratively across teams to solve problems and improve business systems and processes. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to build effective working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are customer-focused, adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement and innovation are valued. Experience working with HR systems, business applications or enterprise systems within a complex organisation will be highly regarded.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or Information Systems
  • Experience with HR systems configuration and support
  • Exposure to TechnologyOne (HRP & Payroll) and UKG desirable
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or analysing business systems and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Understanding of change management and business improvement initiatives
