NDIS Business Development Manager

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead organisational growth, strengthen stakeholder partnerships and oversee NDIS service delivery across QLD.

This is a dynamic role focused on business development, participant onboarding, operational coordination, stakeholder engagement and continuous service improvement. You will play a key role in promoting person-centred, evidence-based supports while ensuring compliance with NDIS standards and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and lead strategic business development initiatives to drive organisational growth across Brisbane, surrounding areas and ACT/NSW when necessary.

• Develop and maintain strong referral pipelines through Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, hospitals, and community organisations.

• Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities and referral pathways that align with organisational objectives and service capabilities.

• Represent Access Lifecare at networking events, stakeholder meetings and community engagement activities to promote services and expand market reach.

• Coordinate and support marketing and promotional initiatives that increase service awareness and referral outcomes, including managing social media pages.

• Manage participant intake and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition from referral to service commencement.

• Review NDIS plans, OT reports, Positive Behaviour Support Plans, funding allocations and other clinical documentation, to assess service suitability and support business decision-making.

• Conduct preliminary risk assessments relating to participants needs, behaviours and environmental risks.

• Work collaboratively with Accommodation Managers and Outreach Coordinators to ensure successful participant transitions and compatibility.

• Monitor referral trends and business development outcomes, providing insights and recommendations to support continuous growth and service expansion.

About You:

• Experience in the development and delivery of programs for people with disability.

• Sound knowledge of NDIS funding, SIL services and participant onboarding processes.

• Excellent oral and written communication, networking and relationship management abilities.

• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or a related field.

• NDIS Screening Check (state based) (Yellow Card)

• Current drivers licence.

• Valid work rights in Australia.

• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or be prepared to obtain)

• NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
