Your responsibility...

Working out of their North Brisbane based head office and reporting to the R&D and Technical Services Manager, you will work closely with the research and development team to develop and deliver outstanding designs and innovative architectural building products. To become part of this team, we require a person who is experienced with:

Detailed project design briefs and timeframes.
AutoCAD and SolidWorks modelling and prototyping testing.
Verification and validation testing.
Costing analysis and bill of material creation.
Concept generation and mechanical problem solving

What you will bring...

The ideal candidate for this full-time position has the following attributes:

Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Designer or similar qualifications.
Prior exposure to the window and door industry will be highly regarded.
Proven results delivering mechanical and structural designs in the construction products sector.
Strong problem-solving skills with a natural flair for identifying opportunities for design improvement.
A working knowledge of AS2047 and AS1288 and the process of NATA product accreditation.
