Business Development Manager - North Brisbane Region

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Smoke Alarms Australia team as a Business Development Manager for our Brisbane North region. A full-time, work from home role, you will be responsible for managing both existing relationships & driving new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Meeting existing clients and building strong continuing relationships

• Proactively identifying, prospecting and converting new business leads to drive revenue growth, a true hunter at heart

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the local market

• Providing expert advice and solutions to clients to address their compliance needs

• Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals

• Collaborating with the wider sales and operations teams to ensure high customer satisfaction

• Analysing market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

• Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in a business development or new sales role, ideally within the fire safety, property management or construction industry

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions

• Highly motivated, target-driven and resilient personality with a passion for sales

• Familiarity with the greater Brisbane city and north Brisbane markets and established networks in the regions, with a love of driving and being on the road

• Professional, friendly and engaging personality
