Senior Business Analyst - Security

Are you a seasoned Technical Business Analyst looking to contribute to a major cyber security and technology transformation initiative within a large enterprise environment?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst - Technical to support critical security, infrastructure, and technology uplift programs. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior stakeholders, architects, engineers, security specialists, and delivery teams to drive meaningful business and technology outcomes.

About the Role

This position will focus on supporting key cyber security and technology initiatives, including vulnerability management, system uplift, risk reduction programs, and enterprise technology improvements.

You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, solutions are fit for purpose, and projects are successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and delivery teams to analyse requirements and define technology solutions
• Translate business objectives into detailed functional and technical requirements
• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and traceability activities
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions
• Support solution design discussions with architecture and engineering teams
• Analyse existing systems, applications, integrations, and data flows
• Assess the impact of proposed changes across technology platforms and business processes
• Support delivery teams with process improvement initiatives and reporting
• Collaborate with vendors, managed service providers, and offshore teams to achieve project outcomes
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Build strong relationships across business and technical stakeholder groups

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments
• Strong business and technical requirements elicitation and documentation skills
• Experience working across infrastructure, applications, systems integration, and technology delivery projects
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and related delivery tools

Highly Regarded

• Experience in Cyber Security programs
• Vulnerability Management experience
• Exposure to Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, or Enterprise Technology environments
• Experience working within SDLC and technology governance frameworks
• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
