Technical Lead – Data & Analytics15-Month Contract | Brisbane We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join a major enterprise data and analytics transformation program. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-priority business capabilities through modern cloud, data engineering, and analytics technologies.Working alongside senior project leadership, you will lead technical delivery teams, drive agile execution, and oversee the successful delivery of enterprise intelligence and data platform initiatives. The RoleAs the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, delivery, and implementation of data and analytics solutions while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational governance and delivery standards.You will work closely with Project Managers, Architects, Cloud Engineers, Security teams, delivery partners, and business stakeholders to successfully deliver strategic outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of enterprise Databricks solutionsDrive sprint planning, execution, and agile delivery practicesCoordinate technical teams across multiple project workstreamsDeliver scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, integrations, and analytics solutionsManage technical risks, issues, dependencies, and project challengesEnsure platform performance, security, scalability, and operational readinessCollaborate with architecture, cloud, and security teams to align solutions with enterprise standardsEngage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful delivery outcomesManage and coordinate external delivery partners and vendors About YouYou are a highly capable Technical Lead with a proven track record delivering complex enterprise data and analytics projects in large organisations.Essential ExperienceDemonstrated experience delivering Enterprise Intelligence projects within large and complex environmentsStrong understanding of project delivery risks, governance requirements, and management challenges associated with enterprise data programsProven agile delivery experience and an agile mindsetExceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior executivesStrong experience with data warehousing, data engineering, and integration solutionsHands-on experience with Databricks, including Spark and Delta LakeExperience with data ETL platforms, data extraction, processing, automation, and data security practicesMinimum three years' experience delivering solutions within AWS environmentsExperience with reporting and visualisation platforms leveraging modern data lake and Databricks architecturesProven ability to manage project risks, issues, and dependencies in complex delivery environmentsExperience leading geographically dispersed technical teams and external delivery partners What's on Offer?15-month contract opportunityBrisbane-based engagementOpportunity to lead strategic enterprise data and analytics initiativesWork with modern technologies including Databricks, AWS, and cloud-based analytics platformsCollaborative and high-performing delivery environmentExposure to large-scale enterprise transformation programs If you have a strong background in enterprise data delivery, Databricks, AWS, and technical leadership, we'd love to hear from you.
