Manager, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Information Management

We are partnering with one of Queensland’s most beloved and iconic NFP organisations to find a Manager of Infrastructure & Cyber Security. Reporting directly to a mission-driven CIO, you will lead the charge in uplifting digital maturity, strengthening resilience, and ensuring that tech remains an enabler for frontline rescue teams.

You are joining at a pivotal moment as the organization matures its alignment with the ACSC Essential Eight and NIST (CSF 2.0) frameworks and quickly giving you a clear seat at the table to help shape the future structure and decide where you want to lead.

• Lead & Coach: Manage a tight-knit team of 2.5 (Principal Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Support Analyst), fostering a culture of competence and collaboration.
• Strategic Uplift: Drive the Cyber Security Roadmap, transitioning the environment from "reactive" to "resilient."
• Operational Excellence: Oversee cloud, network, and identity services, ensuring 24/7 reliability for critical rescue operations.
• Vendor Partnership: Manage key relationships with major providers (including Aussie Broadband) to ensure value and security.
• Hands-on Leadership: This is a "player-coach" environment. One day you’re architecting a security framework; the next, you’re supporting the team in the weeds of a complex deployment.
