Insurance Lawyer (Open to 1 Year PAE up to Special Counsel) | Brisbane CBD

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Defendant Insurance Lawyer with a minimum of 1 year PAE.

Working closely with respected Partners and senior practitioners, you will gain exposure to a diverse mix of Defendant Insurance litigation and Abuse matters. This role offers hands-on responsibility, genuine mentoring, and the opportunity to build long-term career progression within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

• Work on a broad range of Insurance matters across workers’ compensation, public liability and more
• Manage and assist with complex claims across a varied client portfolio
• Develop strong client relationships while delivering commercially focused legal solutions
• Be supported with ongoing mentoring, structured development, and career progression opportunities – this is an opportunity for the right hungry individual to progress rapidly

About You

• Minimum 1 year PAE in Defendant Insurance Litigation up to Special Counsel level (the team can tailor the role around your level)
• Junior Plaintiff lawyers with a strong interest in going to Defendant are also encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively
• A proactive approach with the confidence to work both autonomously and within a team
• A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service
