Commercial Finance Lead

The Role

The Commercial Finance Lead is a key business partnering role supporting Sales and Marketing, with clear accountability for trade spend management, commercial performance insight, and ownership of the trade promotions management (TPM) platform.

This Brisbane based role in Coorparoo combines strong financial control with commercial influence. You will drive visibility and discipline across trade investment while supporting pricing and promotional decisions through insight-led analysis. Working closely with stakeholders, you will play a central role in improving how the business manages revenue, margin and commercial investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Marketing to provide insight, challenge and decision support on performance and commercial opportunities.

• Own trade spend end-to-end, including accruals, forecasting, controls and reporting.

• Drive visibility, governance and alignment of trade investment across customers and channels.

• Own and optimise the TPM platform (Blueshift), including data integrity, adoption and continuous improvement.

• Support pricing and promotional decisions, applying a Revenue Growth Management (RGM) lens to improve revenue, margin and trade effectiveness.

• Deliver insight-led analysis on key revenue drivers (volume, price, mix and trade) to improve commercial performance.

• Contribute to IBP, budgeting and forecasting processes, including development of robust commercial assumptions.

About You

You are a commercially focused finance professional with strong analytical capability and the ability to influence cross-functionally. You are comfortable operating in a hands-on role, while also taking ownership of key processes and driving improved outcomes across the business.

• Experience in commercial finance, business partnering or FP&A (ideally FMCG or similar)

• Strong understanding of trade spend, pricing and commercial drivers

• Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights

• Confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders

• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and control

• Experience with planning or trade promotion systems (e.g. Blueshift) highly regarded
