Property Lawyer

Our client is a highly regarded Gold Coast commercial law firm seeking a Lawyer / Associate to join its specialist Leasing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level practitioner to build a focused career in commercial, retail, and industrial leasing within a sophisticated practice acting for major landlords and developers.

You will support landlords across a broad range of leasing transactions, assisting with the preparation, negotiation, and completion of lease documentation, as well as preparing related agreements for the engagement and appointment of leasing agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating commercial, retail, and industrial leases
• Preparing and reviewing commercial agreements and transaction documents
• Conducting legal research across property, leasing, and commercial law
• Supporting complex, multi-party development and commercial transactions
• Managing client communication and matter progression

About You

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent and admitted (or eligible for admission) in Queensland
• Experience in commercial, property, or leasing law
• Strong drafting, communication, and organisational skills
• Detail-focused with a strong commercial mindset
