Established in 1959, Stoddart has been synonymous with stainless steel, steel and aluminium metal fabrication for over 60 years. We operate out of a state-of the-art facility in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, with an additional network of sales offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Throughout its evolution, Stoddart has proudly continued to remain a 100% Australian-owned family business.

As a Warehousing & Despatch Worker, you will be responsible for accurate picking, packing and storage of stock from the warehouse, and goods manufactured on a just in time basis. The role also takes responsibility for container unloading. The nature of the work requires exceptional accuracy in packing of shipped goods.

More specifically your duties will include the following:

  • Accurately identify stock on paperwork

  • Accurately pick stock

  • Manhandle stock and packaging

  • Accurately measure items

  • Measure and cut timber using a drop saw

  • Assemble crates/skids/etc using a nail gun

  • Record outgoing stock

  • Willingly accept other duties as directed

In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:

  • Knowledge in packing processes and systems

  • Knowledge in warehousing systems

  • Skilled in using hand and power tools

  • Ability to read/write English and undertake basic maths calculations

  • Ability to follow Work Instructions and Procedures

The following criteria are considered desirable:

  • Licenced to operate a forklift (HR LF)
