Freight Coordinator

We’re seeking a Freight Coordinator to join our dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient and timely transportation of air cargo.

You’ll be working 5 days a week on a 24/7 rotating roster, offering flexibility and variety across your schedule.

The Role:
Basic Responsibilities:

• Screen and safely load and unload high volumes of cargo
• Work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure all cargo deliverables are met
• Perform safe forklift operations and airside cargo driving
• Adhere to all OH&S procedures and strict airside compliance requirements
• General warehouse duties including documentation, systems updates, equipment maintenance and housekeeping

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse or airside role is highly regarded
• Flexible and are able to work a dynamic schedule
• Safety-focused
• Reliable and punctual

This role involves regular manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy items. Candidates must be able to safely perform these inherent requirements of the position.

Required Licences:

• Current LF Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with no restrictions & own transport
• Current ASIC (must be eligible to obtain)

  
Working Hours

During the training period, your days of work will be Monday to Friday with an 8am or 9am commencement. Once the training period has been completed, start and finish times will vary and may include early morning starts (4am) and late finishes (11pm) so availability to work on a rotating schedule and overtime hours, including weekends, where required will be essential.
