We are currently seeking a Customs Broker to join our team in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, check and lodge Import declarations for Clearance of Import Cargo on behalf of GEODIS Clients.
Prepare, check and lodge Import documentation for Department of Agriculture (Quarantine) Clearance.
Prepare, check and lodge Tariff Advices / Duty Refunds / Duty Drawbacks as required.
Identify, communicate and resolve day to day challenges relating to Clearance of Import Cargo.
Skills and experience
5 years industry experience as a Customs Broker preferred.
Experience using EDI CargoWise preferred.
Experience using COLS preferred.
Sound working knowledge of Australian Customs Law and procedures including;
Classification, Valuation, Origin and Preference, Free Trade Agreements.
Sound working knowledge of Department of Agriculture (Quarantine) Regulations and procedures.
