Full Job Description

We’re looking for a Freight Coordinator to join our growing team. If you like staying active, working with a solid crew, and being part of a fast paced environment, this is for you.

Based at Brisbane Airport, you will be joining our Domestic Air Cargo Operations team. You’ll be working 5 days a week on a 24/7 rotating roster, with plenty of variety in your day. Your start & finish times will vary so flexible availability is essential.

The Role
Basic Responsibilities:

• Load and unload high volumes of cargo
• Screen and pack cargo
• Perform forklift operations and airside cargo driving
• Follow OH&S and strict airside compliance requirements
• General warehouse duties such as general housekeeping & checks
• Process documentation & system updates

This role involves regular manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy items. Candidates must be able to safely perform these inherent requirements of the position.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience is a bonus
• Minimum 12 months forklift experience preferred
• Customer service experience in any industry
• Reliable, punctual and ready to work
• Available to work on a rotating roster
• Confident handling and stacking heavy loads
• Strong safety mindset

Licences:

• Current LF Forklift Licence (or ability to obtain one)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence without restrictions and own transport
• Fumigation certification (preferred)
