The Role

We are seeking an experienced Allocator to join our operations team, with a primary focus on bin transport allocation and direction to drivers for disposal.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring strong decision-making, clear communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple transport functions.

Key Responsibilities

Daily allocation of bin movements across metropolitan and regional deliveries

Coordinate and schedule deliveries, change overs and pickups to meet customer requirements

Allocate appropriate trucks and drivers to each task

Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure service delivery

Monitor fleet utilisation, efficiency, and turnaround times

Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations, including Mass, Fatigue, and Maintenance

Supervise driver on-boarding, driver training and driver performance

Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to coordinate maintenance and minimise

downtime

About You

Proven experience in transport allocation

Strong understanding of transport operations and fleet coordination

Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Load Restraint, and NHVR compliance

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Highly organised with strong problem-solving capability

Confident communicator with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders

Sound knowledge of the Brisbane metropolitan area, Sunshine Coast & Fraser Coast

Proficient with transport systems

Team-focused with a proactive and adaptable approach
