In addition to our manufacturing division, we operate a fully equipped mechanical workshop providing repairs and servicing for pressure cleaning equipment, along with an onsite retail store supplying products, parts, and accessories to our customers.

OUR FACILITY: Our near-new workshops and retail store are based in Stapylton (Yatala), Queensland, conveniently located just off the M1 Motorway.
We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and friendly Assembly/Production Worker to join our team at Sprintjett. Working alongside our fabrication team, you'll be involved in the assembly, preparation, and finishing of our industry-leading equipment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their work and who enjoys being part of a team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
As an Assembly/Production Worker at Sprintjett, you will be responsible for:
Assembly of new machines and equipment including pressure cleaners, water jetters, and high-pressure pumps
Fitting parts and accessories to machines, including wiring trailer lights, trailer plugs, float switches, battery isolators, and emergency stop (E-Stop) systems.
Installation of water tanks, hose reels, and other components required to complete customer orders.
Assisting with the manufacture, assembly, and installation of equipment onto customer vehicles and trailers.
Carrying out general workshop duties including measuring, drilling, cutting and other production and assembly tasks.
Working closely with the production and fabrication teams to meet manufacturing targets and delivery schedules.
Reading and interpreting job specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Supporting team members with day-to-day workshop operations and assisting in other areas as required.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
Experience with 12-volt wiring, plug-and-play systems, and the installation of electrical accessories.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and general workshop equipment.
A friendly personality with a positive, professional attitude and presentation.
A willingness to learn, take initiative, and approach tasks with a "can-do" attitude.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Strong time management skills, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions from managers and team members.
The ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being capable of working independently when required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
A commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
A current forklift (LF) licence is required for this position
