We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing facility based in Eagle Farm. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing Monday to Friday work with competitive pay rates and stable afternoon shift hours.

About the Role

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be involved in the production of reinforcing steel products, including reinforcing bars and steel mesh used within the construction industry.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating manufacturing and production machinery

Producing reinforcing steel products to quality standards

Repetitive manual handling and lifting throughout the shift

Loading, unloading and moving materials

Forklift operation as required

Assisting with welding tasks and basic fabrication work

Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment

Current forklift licence (essential)

Welding experience

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Ability to perform repetitive lifting and manual handling tasks

Reliable work ethic and excellent attendance

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
