Assembly Supervisor | Brisbane North | Permanent | 4-Day Week

Our client is a well-established Queensland manufacturer of custom-built vehicles, building to client specification rather than running a standard production line. With the business in a strong growth phase, we are looking for a hands-on Assembly Supervisor to lead the assembly floor.

This is where the build comes together. You will run the day-to-day assembly operation, lead the team, and own the quality of every vehicle that goes out the door, working in a tight-knit workshop where no two builds are the same.

• Permanent, full-time. Four 10-hour days, with a choice of Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.

• $46 to $50 per hour plus super, depending on experience.

What you will bring:

• A mechanical assembly background with solid knowledge of vehicle running gear: suspension, braking, electrical and wheels. This one matters.

• 3 to 5 years in vehicle or adjacent manufacturing assembly.

• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leading hand capacity, leading people rather than just doing the work.

• Trade qualification in mechanical assembly or equivalent hands-on experience.

• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

• A safety-first approach and pride in quality workmanship.

Desirable: forklift licence and White Card, experience onboarding and mentoring apprentices, and exposure to QA sign-off processes.
