About the role
We are seeking an Inventory Administrator to join our team in Mount Gravatt East, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems. As an Inventory Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, coordinating inventory movements, and ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly. This role is essential to supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to our customers on time.
Key responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouse locations
Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify discrepancies
Process inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and adjustments in the inventory management system
Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment
Prepare and maintain inventory reports and documentation for management review
Manage and organise inventory storage areas to optimise space and accessibility
Investigate and resolve inventory variances and discrepancies
Support cycle counting activities and physical inventory audits
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding stock levels and delivery schedules
Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices
Key Attributes & Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of administration and data entry experience required
Proven experience working in an inventory management or warehouse environment, ideally within manufacturing or logistics
Proficiency with inventory management systems and warehouse software
Strong organisational and attention to detail skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
Competent in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
Knowledge of stock control procedures and best practices
Problem-solving ability and initiative in identifying process improvements
High school completion or equivalent qualification
Relevant qualifications or certification in inventory management or warehousing (preferred but not essential)
