Our client is a well-established organisation delivering large-scale, complex operations across Queensland. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement across the business.

This is a newly created role where you will shape procurement strategy, strengthen governance, and build best-practice sourcing within a fast-paced and operationally complex environment.

The Role
This role will take ownership of building a procurement function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implement procurement policies, frameworks, and processes
  • Provide strategic advice on procurement, risk, and governance
  • Oversee sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and internal controls
  • Build procurement capability and embed best-practice ways of working
  • Implement and improve procurement systems and tools
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive consistent procurement outcomes
  • Deliver reporting and insights to senior leadership
About You
You are a commercially minded procurement professional with strong governance and stakeholder management capability. You bring experience working within complex or regulated environments and have a strong understanding of procurement frameworks, contract management, and supplier engagement.

A relevant qualification in business, procurement, supply chain, or similar is required.
