Sales Operations Manager

For more than 50 years this business has been the go-to source for engineered cargo restraint systems, industrial webbing, lifting and recovery products, load securing solutions and specialised textile products. Their customers operate across transport, logistics, mining, marine and industrial sectors on every continent. The products are trusted because they have to be; lives and loads depend on them. 
  
This is a dual-role position based in South East Brisbane. Externally, you will develop new business and grow existing customer relationships across transport operators, mining contractors, industrial distributors, manufacturers and logistics providers across Australia and New Zealand. Internally, you will oversee the 350m² warehouse, manage imports and inventory, and lead a small team of 3 to ensure stock is available and orders go out on time. You will report directly to the international Managing Director in South Africa

What You’ll Do:

• Grow key accounts while winning new business opportunities
• Lead warehouse operations and maintain accurate stock levels
• Coordinate imports, purchasing and global supply activities
• Support and lead warehouse and administration team members
• Travel across Australia and New Zealand, supporting clients
• Work closely with international leaders and product managers
• Monitor sales, service and operational performance metrics

About You

• Strong in B2B sales you know how to prospect, close, and retain
• Experienced in inventory management, logistics, or supply planning
• Natural leader with a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up management style
• Confident communicator and relationship-builder
• Highly organised and comfortable working independently
