And now, we are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Auction Operations Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of our auction house. You'll assist with auction preparation, photography, lot handling, administration, logistics, and post-auction fulfilment while working alongside a passionate team of specialists in coins, banknotes, jewellery, antiques, and collectables.
The role provides broad support across multiple areas of the business and is ideally suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in organisation and accuracy, and is willing to assist wherever required to ensure operational efficiency. Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with auction lot preparation, organisation, storage, and tracking
Photograph auction items and perform image editing
Support post-auction order collation and dispatch activities
Maintain auction records, databases, and documentation
Assist with lot viewing preparation and auction administration
Support logistics, stock handling, and fulfilment activities
Work closely with, cataloguing, logistics, and photography teams
Assist with a variety of operational and administrative tasks across the business
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Confidence using computer systems and learning new software
A proactive, team-oriented attitude
An interest in photography, collectables, or auctions (highly regarded but not essential)
Previous administration, logistics, warehouse, photography, or operational experience will be highly regarded
Work with fascinating rare coins, banknotes, jewellery, and collectables
