About this role
We are inviting expressions of interest for an Operations Manager to join our team in Acacia Ridge as an on-site role.
This role plays a key part in supporting tender submissions and project delivery by developing high-quality schedules, analysing project risks and opportunities, and contributing to innovative planning solutions on a day-to-day basis. You will be communicating with our reception team, on site technicians and management team throughout the day.
What you’ll be doing
Developing comprehensive, realistic, and achievable schedules for tenders, projects, and studies.
Preparing scenario and alternative schedules, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring all third‑party requirements are integrated.
Working closely with estimators and tender/project teams to ensure alignment between estimates, schedules and all deliverables.
Coaching team members in scheduling best practices and contributing to continuous improvement of planning tools and processes.
Providing schedule support prior and during a project.
Continuously review rostering practices to improve efficiency and identify opportunities to optimise labour utilisation.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following:
Great recall of jobs/history of work performed
Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning and scheduling
Experience in the construction/glazing (preferred)
Experience in Xero and Service M8 preferred but not essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Accurate and attentive to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
