We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lift Installer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, commissioning, and testing of passenger, goods, and accessibility lifts across a range of commercial, residential, health, education, and infrastructure projects.
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and fellow technicians, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall lift and escalator equipment in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
Read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Install guide rails, brackets, machinery, doors, control systems, and associated components.
Complete electrical and mechanical fit-out works.
Conduct testing, adjustment, and commissioning activities.
Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Liaise with builders, clients, subcontractors, and consultants on-site.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
Identify and report defects, hazards, and quality issues.
Participate in toolbox talks, site meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Previous experience in lift installation, modernisation, or major repairs.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Construction Industry White Card.
Current driver's licence.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Electrical licence or restricted electrical licence.
High-risk work licences (EWP, Working at Heights, Rigging, Forklift, etc.).
Experience with major lift manufacturers and control systems.
First Aid certification.
Experience in commercial construction environments.
