Employment: Full-time, 5-day work week comprising 4 weekdays and Saturday
Salary: $54,000 + superannuation + generous commission structure
An exciting opportunity is now available for the right person to join a new locally owned retail business specialising in spas, swim spas, pools, saunas, ice baths and wellness products.
This is more than just a retail sales role. It is an opportunity to be part of a new business from the beginning, help shape the customer experience, and work with products that support health, relaxation, recovery and lifestyle improvement.
The opportunityAs our Retail Sales Assistant, you will be one of the first points of contact for customers visiting our showroom. Your role will be to welcome customers, understand what they are looking for, and help guide them towards the most suitable product for their needs.
You do not need to know everything about spas, swim spas, saunas or ice baths before you start. Training will be provided. What matters most is that you are friendly, reliable, teachable and genuinely interested in helping people.
What you'll be doingYour role will include:
• Welcoming and engaging with customers in the showroom
• Asking good questions to understand each customer's needs
• Helping customers choose suitable wellness and lifestyle products
• Providing professional after-sales service and support
• Learning the features and benefits of our product range
• Assisting with the receiving, unpacking and relocation of stock
• Keeping the showroom and storage areas neat, tidy and visually appealing
• Following safety practices in the showroom and storage areas
What we're looking forWe are looking for someone who is positive, practical and customer-focused.
The right person will have:
· A friendly and approachable personality
· A genuine desire to help customers improve their health and lifestyle
· Strong communication skills
· A willingness to learn
· A reliable and team-focused attitude
· The ability to assist with the physical requirements of receiving, unpacking and moving products when needed
Previous retail sales experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. If you have the right attitude and are willing to learn, we would still like to hear from you.
Due to the nature of the products, some items may be large or heavy and will require careful handling from time to time. Applicants should consider whether they can comfortably assist with this aspect of the role.
A forklift licence would be well regarded but is not required.
