Corporate & Commercial (Funds) Lawyer

You're across financial services licensing, fund establishment, and the transactional end of things. The work is technically interesting. But you're starting to wonder whether the platform around you matches what you're capable of.

The Timing
This role is open now and sits within an active, growing section. You'll work closely with a number of senior practitioners across the national team, with genuine exposure to partners and complex matters from the outset.

The Work Itself
A typical week might see you drafting disclosure documents for a new managed fund, advising a client on their AFSL conditions following a structural change, and working through the commercial terms in a service provider agreement.

Alongside that sits transactional work, due diligence on fund-related deals, and the occasional restructure or closure. The team also works on M&A and broader corporate transactions, so the scope doesn't narrow over time.
If your background is more commercial or banking than pure funds, that's not a barrier here provided the enthusiasm for financial services is genuine.

Sound Like You?
You have between 2 and 4 years of post-admission experience in funds management and/or financial services law, ideally with some time in private practice. You're technically precise, commercially minded, and you write well.
