Store Manager

We’re looking for an energetic, full‑time Store Manager to join our Taubmans store in Chermside. The successful candidate will be responsible for retail fundamentals, including outstanding customer service, reporting, promotions, and merchandising standards. They will help achieve sales and profitability growth while maintaining a productive, and safe work environment.

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, accountability, ownership, teamwork, promoting engagement and offering solutions
• Maintain the team’s knowledge, skills, and behaviours to ensure a successful store culture
• Tinting & mixing paint, palletising paint drums, arranging orders for delivery & colour matching
• Deliveries using the store vehicle
• Inventory, ordering, stock replenishment
• Assist in growing store revenue and targets and hitting KPIs
• Maximise the sales approach to focus on the features and benefits of PPG products
• Assist in implementing marketing and promotional plans to maximise sales potential
• Maintain and continue development of customer relationships. Offer advice/solutions to customers, both trade and retail
• Operate point of sale system and prepare sales invoices following company policy
• Assist in achieving and adhering to store standards, including EHS, training & housekeeping
• Uphold and maintain the highest levels of safety for all team, customers & contractors

• Motivated with the ability to demonstrate initiative
• Experience in retail sales, with a strong customer focus, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment
• Visual merchandising experience preferred, not essential
• An eye for detail, with a focus on safety and driving sales results
• Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must
• Available Monday – Friday between 6:30am – 4:30pm for a 38 hour work week

• Previous Assistant Store Manager or Experienced Sales Assistant
• A valid driver’s licence
• Permanent working rights
• Paint industry experience is not mandatory – training can be provided
