The Company:
The Tile Collective is an industry leader in top quality tiles and tiling products who are known for quality, customer service and value. We have recently experienced a period of significant growth and we now need to expand the warehouse team.
The Role:
As a Store Person you should expect to work standard fulltime hours, Monday to Friday with rotating Saturday shift to be paid at penalty rates. Our opening hours Monday to Friday are 6am to 5pm with Saturday open 8:30am to 3pm. You should expect to work 8 hours per day within these times.
We are currently hiring for casual Store People with a view to transitioning to full time permanent positions.
Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include the following:
Forklift Operation
Pick and pack client orders
Unload containers
Sort purchase orders from local suppliers
Warehouse upkeep
You:
To be successful in the role you will have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes:
Strong work ethic – punctual and reliable
Good level of physical fitness – ability to undertake manual handling tasks and ability to lift heavy weights
Experienced forklift driver with current forklift (LF) license
Eye for detail
Positive attitude
Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously as required
Whilst the following are not mandatory, they will be viewed favourably:
Warehousing background with experience in a similar role
HR/MR License
