Your new role:
As a Research Assistant within Queensland Tissue Bank, you will play a vital role in supporting innovative research projects focused on tissue products, advanced manufacturing processes and emerging healthcare technologies. Working closely with researchers, scientists and clinicians, you will assist with data collection, laboratory activities, research administration and project coordination to ensure studies are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

What we can offer you:Queensland Tissue Bank (QTB) is Queensland's sole facility for the provision of donated human tissues for therapeutic use. QTB performs all stages of tissue procurement including donor identification, screening and consent; and all stages of tissue preparation including retrieval, processing, storage, dispatch, and quality management. Banked tissues include bone, skin, eye, and heart valves. Of the Australian states, Queensland has the largest tissue bank and provides therapeutic tissue products for both local and interstate use. QTB plays a part in informing both state and national policy on tissue banking.
