Northpine Adventist College, situated in Dakabin on Brisbane’s northside, is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 College operated by Adventist Schools South Queensland.

Currently, the College has a vacancy for a Secondary Mathematics and/or Science teacher for a full time contract role from Term 3, 2026. The selected candidate may also be required to teach additional subjects.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated teaching experience in secondary Mathematics and/or Science, with a sound knowledge of the Queensland Senior Syllabus and Australian Curriculum

  •  Demonstrated capacity to integrate ICTs into the teaching and learning program

  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven organisational skills

  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes

  • Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement

  • Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers or the ability to obtain it

  • Commitment to a Christian world view of and the Christian ethos of Northpine Christian College
