Batch Cookie Bar is looking for a qualified Pastry Chef to join our growing team at our central Brisbane City kitchen.

This is a hands-on role focused on cookies, cakes, and specialty breads, working with well-developed recipes, premium ingredients and a team that genuinely cares about craft and consistency.

About the role

Daily production of cookies, cakes and bread-based items
Mixing, baking, finishing and decorating to Batch standards
Working with laminated doughs, fillings and components
Supporting new product development and limited releases
Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards
Working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

About you

Qualified Pastry Chef (Certificate III or equivalent experience)
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Experience in high-volume or production kitchens preferred
Reliable, organised and calm under pressure
Passionate about baking from scratch and quality ingredients
Ready to step up to managerial role
