MC Heavy Vehicle Operator | Join Our Brisbane Operations

About the Role:

We’re looking for experienced MC Drivers to join our Brisbane team at ECS Project Logistics. This full-time position involves:

• Safe and timely freight delivery

• Loading/unloading and truck upkeep

• Accurate recordkeeping and compliance

What We’re Looking For:

• MC Licence—Essential

• Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility—certification preferred, but not mandatory — training can be provided.

• Experience—Solid background in long-distance operations.

• Flexibility and Reliability—Able to respond to short-notice travel, stay cool under pressure, and maintain a “fit for work” approach.

• Attention to Detail – Capable of accurate recordkeeping and load measurement.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain legally required documentation, such as National Heavy Vehicle Work Diary (Logbook) or Electronic Work Diary (EWD) equivalent.

• Position and secure loaded freight in accordance with ‘Load Restraint Guide’ and best practice guidelines.

• Maintain vehicle checklists (prestart/post operation) as directed.

• Ensure regulatory compliance with main roads authorities, councils, clients, WAHVA and the NHVR

• Assist with basic equipment maintenance when required.

• Assist with implementation of on-site safety requirements.

• Attend and take part in client site specific inductions as directed.

• Follow processes, procedures, forms and other documentation relevant to the IMS.

• Report non-conformances, changes or any customer complaints per the IMS procedure.

• Meet client operational requirements and safety requirements.

• Follow Chain of Responsibility (CoR) rules and regulations.
