We are seeking an organised person with high standards to join our team at Aussie Escape Caravans.

Our Workshop requires a Purchasing Officer who can think on their feet. This full time role requires the candidate to possess strong confidence, along with a professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills. 

The person selected for this role will order parts, generate purchase orders, liaise with suppliers and follow up ETA's on parts, allocate parts to jobs, liaise with internal stakeholders in relation to book in dates for customers, receive stock including entering supplier invoices and parts interpretation.  You must be a team player able to take directions, and follow procedures. You are an honest and reliable individual with high integrity. Experience in a workshop environment would be an advantage as would knowledge of Caravans and spare parts. 

A high level of computer skills is required, and a sound knowledge of Excel and MYOB is preferred, however training will be provided.

You will be required to work Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm, Fridays 7.30am to 2.30pm and one Saturday morning per month 7.30am to 11.30am. A current driver’s licence would be favourable however, public transport is available within proximity.

Requirements:

  • Positive and friendly attitude with willingness to learn.

  • Attention to detail.

  • High level of computer skills.

  • Can work well within a team environment and autonomously.

  • Ability to prioritise your time to finish task by deadlines; and

  • Initiative.

Lucrative remuneration package based on experience.
