As part of our team, you'll work with premium brands including Yamaha Outboards, Cruise Craft, Stacer, Sportsman and Kingfisher boats, as well as leading marine electronics brands such as Garmin, Humminbird, Minn Kota, Fusion and GME. You'll be joining a team of dedicated marine professionals who genuinely love the boating lifestyle and take pride in helping customers enjoy their time on the water.
We're looking for someone who shares that passion—an individual who enjoys being around boats, understands what boating means to our customers, and takes pride in helping fellow boating enthusiasts find the right parts, accessories and equipment to enhance their experience on the water.
As Wynnum Marine continues to grow, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Marine Parts & Accessories Manager to join our team and help drive the success of our parts and accessories department.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with marine industry experience who enjoys working with customers and wants to build a long-term career in marine retail. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing parts and accessory sales, developing product knowledge, and helping drive growth within the department.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who possesses one or more of the following:
Experience with Yamaha Genuine Outboard Spare Parts (highly desirable)
A qualified or experienced Marine Mechanic looking to transition off the tools and into Sales.
Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in boating and marine products
A passion for learning and becoming a specialist in marine electronics and technology
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong computer literacy and ability to learn dealership management systems
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
Key Responsibilities
Develop specialist knowledge across our range of outboard parts, marine electronics and accessories
Contribute to sales growth and department performance
Assist customers with marine outboard parts, accessories and electronics enquiries
Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service
Process and fulfil online orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service and timely dispatch
Order, receive, check and process incoming stock and supplier deliveries
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock control procedures
Support workshop and sales departments with parts supply requirements
Ensure showroom displays and merchandising of parts and accessories are maintained
