About the role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Battery Technician Trainee to join our Gold Coast team.
This is an entry-level hands-on role with full training provided, so no battery industry experience or trade qualification is required.
You will be trained to build, service and support batteries across a range of applications, including automotive, marine, commercial and other battery-related equipment.
What you’ll be doing
You will learn how to:
Build battery packs under supervision
Diagnose and test batteries safely and correctly
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Support workshop and mobile service operations
Build practical knowledge of battery technology and equipment
What we’re looking for
You do not need previous experience. We are looking for someone with the right attitude.
To be considered, you must:
Have completed high school
Be an Australian permanent resident or have unrestricted Australian work rights
Live on or near the Gold Coast
Have reliable transport to and from work
Be available for casual work
Be willing to learn practical technical skills
Be reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Have good communication skills and a positive attitude
A current driver licence would be highly regarded.
