Ipswich Nissan is a well-established and growing dealership committed to delivering high-quality vehicles and exceptional customer experiences. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Accessories Fitter to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for the fitment of genuine and aftermarket vehicle accessories across new and used vehicles. You’ll work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure all vehicles are prepared to the highest standard and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Fit a range of automotive accessories including:
Tow bars, bull bars, and roof racks
Electrical accessories (lighting, reverse cameras, etc.)
Interior and exterior enhancements
Conduct pre-delivery accessory installations for new vehicles
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and dealership standards
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Troubleshoot and resolve fitment issues efficiently
Work collaboratively with workshop and sales teams to meet deadlines
About You
Previous experience as an Accessories Fitter, Automotive Technician, or similar
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to read fitting instructions and technical manuals
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Current manual driver’s licence (essential)
Relevant trade qualification (desirable but not essential)
