Palmer Coolum Resort are looking for full time Licenced Security Officers to join our team. The successful candidate must be willing to work nights and weekends on a set roster. The job will include working to help maintain and secure our facility and will involve both patrols, CCTV monitoring in addition to providing security reports and information to help keep our facility secure.

As the Resort becomes operational, there may be opportunity to move into other roles within the Security team.

Monitor CCTV and conduct regular patrols of the Resort.
Check and secure gates
Provide a security service in line with Palmer Coolum Resort SOP’s and requirements in order to protect our employees, property and other assets.
Complete shift / patrol reports as directed by Palmer Coolum Resort
Respond to emergencies, alarm events and provide the necessary support
Good understanding and experience in WHS and emergency response management procedures
Good experience in conflict resolution

Requirements

Must have a current & valid Security License.
No criminal convictions.
Excellent communication skills
Be able to work independently, self -aware, motivated, and able to work as part of the team.
Be punctual and reliable.
Be proactive, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
Previous security environment experience and/or security awareness training.
Must hold current First Aid, CPR and RSA certificate.

The Palmer Coolum Resort & Golf Course is located on 300 acres of pristine land located at Yaroomba, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. With holiday accommodation units, restaurants, conference and banqueting, maintenance facilities and a golf course.
