Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of projects, JTH Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and motivated Workshop Boilermakers, Site Fitters and Riggers to join our team.

With ongoing workshop, shutdown, maintenance and project work available, we are looking for quality tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship, have a strong commitment to safety and are looking to build a long-term relationship with a growing Queensland company.

Our work spans a variety of industries, including coal mining, hard rock mining, mineral processing and heavy industrial projects throughout Queensland.

Positions Available

Workshop Boilermakers

We are seeking experienced Workshop Boilermakers to support our growing fabrication workload.

Responsibilities include:

• Structural steel fabrication

• Workshop welding and fabrication works

• Repairs and modifications to mining and industrial equipment

• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings

• General workshop-based project work

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety

Site Fitters

Responsibilities include:

• Fixed plant maintenance and repairs

• Shutdown and project work

• Equipment installation and commissioning support

• Conveyor, pump and mechanical equipment maintenance

• Fault finding and breakdown response

Riggers

Responsibilities include:

• Structural and mechanical installations

• Rigging and lifting operations

• Equipment relocations and upgrades

• Shutdown and project-based work

• Working closely with trades and supervision teams

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Trade Qualification (Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter) or High Risk Work Licence (Riggers)

• Current Construction White Card

• Current Working at Heights certification

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)

• Current Driver's Licence

• Strong commitment to safety

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude

Highly Regarded

• Coal mining experience

• Hard rock mining experience

• Confined Space certification

• Additional High Risk Work Licences

• Fixed plant maintenance experience

• Shutdown and project experience

These opportunities are best suited to candidates residing in Townsville and surrounding regions, with work available across various project locations throughout Central Queensland
