Belayr Resources, on behalf of a leading underground miner, is looking for great people with underground hard rock mining experience as Truck Drivers to join our mining operations in the Cobar region.
This is a casual position on a 14:14 even-time roster, FIFO from Brisbane to Cobar. Lock in stable, long-term work with great conditions and a strong safety culture.
What’s on Offer:
💰 $50 - $55 per hour – Casual
14:14, 12-hour shifts (rotating days & nights) ongoing work
FIFO from Brisbane to Cobar, NSW
🏕️ Camp accommodation and meals provided
💼 Join a high-performing underground mining team
Role Duties:
Safe, efficient operation of underground haulage trucks
Completing daily visual inspections and checks to ensure equipment is safe and clean for use
Perform work functions in accordance with your training, in the underground environment
What You’ll Need:
You will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally with underground exposure. Ticket and experience requirements will vary depending on the role and may include:
Truck Operator
Experience driving AD45 or AD30 trucks
Previous experience operating heavy equipment
Experience working in an underground mining environment is essential
Security Clearance (UHL) highly desirable
