The Opportunity

PWR is growing at a rapid pace and we’re expanding our team! We’re looking for experienced, 3 and 5 AXIS Machinists (or 3 + 2) for manufacturing of CNC machined parts. 

Located on the beautiful Gold Coast, this role is ideal for candidates looking to relocate and enjoy a world-class lifestyle alongside a rewarding career.

Shift Options:

Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Mon–Fri)

• Overtime available

• Optional 9-day fortnight

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 12:00am (Mon–Thurs)

• Includes afternoon/night shift loading

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience using Mazak Variaxis and HAAS CNC milling machines would be advantageous, with Integrex lathe experience highly regarded. Alternatively, strong experience with similar machining centres will be considered.

• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines, (or 3+2 )

• Good understanding of tooling selection and procedures.

• Verification and accuracy of component, recording results, reporting any issues.

• Time served machinist or equivalent recognised apprenticeship/experience.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications and condition of supply.

• High level of detail orientation.

• Excellent communication skills and team player - be able to work well alongside others.
