About the role

Arcworks Aluminium & Steel, located in Capalaba, is seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator / Boilermaker who takes pride in their craftsmanship, delivers precise, high-quality work, and has a reliable, can-do attitude.

In this Full Time role, you’ll be responsible for the fabrication of our aluminium and steel products, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of workmanship and compliance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Fabricate and assemble aluminium and steel products, including fencing, gates, handrails, balustrades, steel structures, and custom fabrication projects

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, workshop plans and specifications

  • Ensure all fabricated work complies with Australian Standards and Arcworks quality standards

  • Select and prepare appropriate materials, fixings and components for fabrication

  • Problem-solve during fabrication, making adjustments to ensure accuracy and high-quality finishes

  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production timelines and quality expectations

  • Assist with general workshop duties, machinery operation and housekeeping as required

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified Boilermaker or equivalent trade experience

  • Strong aluminium fabrication experience (essential)

  • Proven experience in fabricating with both aluminium and steel

  • Excellent practical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Reliable, punctual and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
