Pipe Fitters & Pipe Welders

DIALOG Fitzroy Australia is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters and Pipe Welders to support our growing workload in Brisbane. We have opportunities available for individuals interested in casual or permanent employment.

• Fitting and welding of small and large bore pipework in workshop and onsite environments
• Welding in accordance with relevant Australian and International Standards (ASME XI)
• Completion and understanding of work packs, including material and weld traceability
• Minor structural steel fabrication, assembly, and installation as required
• Experience with bolt‑up and flange management
• Reading and interpreting isometric and engineering drawings
• Working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards

• Proven experience in pipe fitting and/or pipe welding
• Capability to pass multiple 6G pipe weld tests, including:
  • GTAW (STT), SMAW, and FCAW
  • 100% X‑Ray (carbon and stainless steel)
• Experience in structural fabrication and welding using SMAW/FCAW
• Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic

• Current Driver's Licence
• Work at Heights (required)
• Confined Space Entry (required)
• Construction White Card (required)
• Legal right to work in Australia

• High Risk Work Licence (WP, LF)
• Successful visual inspection of weld tests
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
